Members of the POLISH Special Operations Forces, Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno Mobilnego-or- (Operational Mobile Response Group) (GROM) secure a section of the port of Umm Qasr, Iraq, during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. The GROM participated in coalition naval forces efforts to clear southern Iraqi waterways of mines and rogue vessels to make way for the arrival of humanitarian relief shipments.

21 December 2011, five Polish soldiers killed in Afghanistan by explosion. They were members of the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), dealing in the distribution of clothing and food, construction of roads, wells, etc. In Afghanistan, 26 Poles have died already.
Rest in peace. I just wish the fucking Taliban would just give up and the troops could all return home.
Too bad life just isn’t that easy.
